Fees & Insurance
Dr. Fahncke is dedicated to providing you with outstanding dental care based on sound dental standards, and our fees are consistent with other dental providers in the Toledo area. Prior to beginning treatment, you will receive a detailed plan of care, which includes expected treatment costs. However, during treatment, if additional care is required or advisable, Dr. Fahncke will discuss the situation with you, and obtain your approval prior to proceeding.
For your convenience we accept payment by cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. To assist in paying for extensive dental care, we accept CareCredit which offers interest-free payment plans for up to 12 months. We are a primarily a fee for service dental practice. Dr. Fahncke is a Delta Dental Premiere provider which may limit Delta subscribers’ out-of-pocket expenditures to those allowed by your insurance plan to your annual limit. For those with other dental insurance coverage which allows you to choose out-of-network providers, we can submit insurance claims on your behalf, but you will be responsible for any deductibles, co-pays and fees not covered by your plan.
When reconstructive work (e.g., crowns, dentures) is begun, you will be expected to pay approximately half of the expected cost. The remaining balance will be required on the date of delivery. We appreciate that extensive dental restorations can be costly, however, treatment can often be divided up into several stages. This will allow you to spread the fees out over time.
